Soft power

✅According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Soft power is the ability to influence others through appeal and attraction,
using non-coercive means.
🔸 It rests on the ability to shape the preferences of others.
✅It is different from hard power that relies on tangible power resources such as armed forces or economic means.
✅The report has highlighted that despite India’s rich history and unrivaled cultural diversity, the country remains hampered by the lack of a comprehensive soft power strategy.
